I seem to have plants start into growth earlier here, but then as my soil dries out, the summer plants are later to flower.

I do need to introduce more early colour as in my South facing border at the bottom of the garden is mostly late summer stuff like kniphofias, rudbekia, penstemon (nearly flowering) salvia purple rain buds just started, that's why I love the alstroe as it flowers a bit earlier. Salvia caradonna just starting too :-))

Daylily, most of my Salvias and Pentomens are flowering now, I've just not photographed them, been so occupied with making my alpine area.
