The Penstemons seem to have flowered very well this year. Even if this is my second comment, one for each picture....A double take....

yes they are doing well at the moment, though the heat has taken its toll a bit.

Know what you mean there Seaburngirl. I've had to cut some of my plants right back because they have suffered from the heat.
