Back from the dead!

this cordyline got left out the greenhouse last year thinking it was a hardy variety, well lets just say i found out the hard way that it's not! and it completey rotted and died back, but with a bit of TLC new compost and lots of feeding - look it has come back!

to be honest Marguerite, i have no idea i was kind of hoping that someone might be able to tell me. it did have a much thicker stem - this is what rotted back in the winter, and this little baby started growing from the side, so i just chopped off the big dead bit and gave it some TLC. i do have another variety that is far more common in gardens over here, 'red star' i think it is called and they are completely hardy in the UK. this one however is not! so your guess is as good as mine
