First time in 10 years I have grown them and am so pleased they’re doing so well!

Thanks. It's a job trying to keep up with picking them every other day! Don't want them to go to seed. I planted them out last October and kept them in a cool frame over winter and despite the snow and cold they made it through. I have also got some spring sown ones which will hopefully keep on flowering until the autumn.

one of the interesting plants I found growing wild is a very hardy, pink sweetpea. It was growing in a tangle of wildflowers and weeds near the road and crawling all over everything else. I was a bit concerned bringing it in...so to speak. I threw the seeds into a corner where nothing else would grow and they've come back this year with vigor...will grow up the house wall, produce some nice flowers, go to seed and die back in the fall. I have a pic of it somewhere that I should post. Wonder if I could pollenate it with some of the Spencers that I buy as annuals.
