Special tree's. I dont think anything else puts on this kind of show that we can grow here.

The Jacaranda trees here are in full bloom, also. They're a little late this year. I usually see the first flowering trees here in San Diego around late March or early April.
My giant Jacaranda tree is flowering and the sidewalk is covered with flowers every hour of every day. Ugh! I love Jacaranda; however, the flowers dropping everywhere is a pain! lol!

They would make great epiphyte trees. Mount all types on them.

Yes, I have my Epiphyllum oxypetalum (which is an epiphyte) growing up the trunk. Unfortunately, it's been so dry here it's not growing too fast.
