These day lilies somehow found their way into my garden and refuse to leave. They bloom in sun or shade & nothing bothers them. I believe this is the original day lily that's been crossed to make all kinds of hybrids.

I just want to tame it. It spreads so fast and wants to choke out everything else. It's tyrant, but the flowers are edible.

No, just this one! This is the wild day lily. Others can be aggressive too I suppose. They others cost a lot of money and had to be purchased and carefully planted and cared for. This one just moved in 'univited' lol. I do give it a small area since it is a native 'it was here before us' but it's always fighting to take over.
