Thank you Brian . The slugs and snail have never touched this one but I think they ve had my rare little one it came up with leaves then it vanished. I wish I had cut the bottom from a large plastic pop bottle or knocked the bottom out of a large glass pop or wine bottle and covered it while coming through I ll know better next time.
If you want to know how to knock the bottom out of a glass bottle Brian get an old fire poker push it into the glass bottle through the neck tap all around the sides at the bottom of the rim then hit the centre of the bottom with the point of the poker and it should drop out with a smooth edging.
