Now mine (in the cold Midlands) are fine over winter, when it gets bigger and forms a mound, it will look great, really like mine and to take a cutting, just take a shoot and put in water, roots appear in a couple of weeks.

Surprisingly the variegated one is bigger and is flowering.

My variegated is flowering too, ill take cuttings for next year as Karen says they go leggy and woody in time.

I'm determined to keep trimming all the Salvias, not let them get huge and leggy. If I don't forget!
