Thanks 3d! These have become my favourite Hemerocallis. They have a wonderful scent and I've planted the Grape Iris, with it's sweet scent, beside them..the aroma is heavenly!

I bet it is makes up for that horrid winter you had.

..maybe a little bit, Penny. now we're sweltering and I'm biting mylip to keep from complaining about it.

Well, that explains it! I was born in the depths of winter! That's why I can tolerate the cold better than the heat...Then again, the heat is fleeting and it's always cold at some point in the day here, spring or summer. After a day of low 40's we had a cracking good thunderstorm and lots of rain..this 5:30 am it was 12 degrees! brrr.... BUT, it's going up to 33 today!

I find that a lot in people here born in winter my sisters who are twins prefer walking in rain lol.
