Good idea, Irish, haha! It was great just to look round, a good way to spend time on a Sunday. It would be so easy to furnish and plant up quickly a small garden e.g. roof terrace, bacony, courtyard or basement apartment garden - for a fraction of the prices from other outlets. I didn't see a price for the cage, Jacque. This is a well-known shop in Columbia Road, called Open House (has its own website). Probably quite expensive, though. The wooden box with Columbia Road on it in my first pic of the market, for example, costs £32.

All is touristy these days, David... wait til the off season to buy the accoutrements and bric-a-brac..lol ... I'm still buying plants!! Saw that birdcage too Jacque...we could arm-wrestle for it!!! ...hmmm? My biggest joy at markets is just to ramble...and feast the eyes... The Italian market in Montreal is like that!! and there is a Mennonite market in Kitchener that is very alluring too! what a place! So much fun and it costs very little to look... you meet very interesting people there too! great food at the bistros.
