LOL I can't blame you. These guys are too clever for their own good.

I had a little "Bobby Coon" on my back deck last night.. It is so dry here that they really need the water. According to nature lore I learned as a kid, they have no saliva glands and must have water/moisture available when they eat. I've started two birdbaths because of the drought...I don't know who likes and uses it more...the birds, the squirrels or the raccoons!

I have all kinds of things visiting my bird bath. Apparently everybody needs a drink. Had some possums, raccoons, bats, lizards & all kinds of birds and stray kittens. The weather here feels like a tropical rainforest, hot, steamy, unrelenting with the inevitable deluge. I've only seen the raccoons a couple times.
