Beautiful pastel colours. I used to grow the yellow ones when we had the large greenhouse down the road where we used to live. I put them out in the summer and the moths loved them in the evening, and the scent was fantastic. The sap can be irritating to the skin, but they are beautiful, and I used to take cuttings every year about now.

The other day I had an unusual butterfly land on it wish I had my camera it was black long shape like the black and green matalic one of the Swallow tail family but this had a wonderful matalic blue stripe in the centre of its body but I have nt ID looking on the net for it yet. I shall now look out for the moths "

Usually they have blue at the bottom edge of their wings with a red spot but I can't find one with a blue stripe in the centre of its body. Perhaps it's a one off Swallowtail.

It could well be as at the rear of my home is a wild life conservation which lead onto the can at the top of my lane it goes like a horse shoe shape around my home.

Still waiting for ours to flower, so many last year...if you take cuttings I would love one, could swop you a variegated one?

I shall try taking a cutting for you Dottydaisy I shall have to check how and when to take one lol as its new to me.
