It's Clematis virginianum, commonly, Old Man's Beard or Virgin's Bower.. It grows like a weed here. I have a hillside covered with it. the flowers are very tiny...about an inch across.

I didn't think anything could out compete Wisteria.

Yeah! My wisteria is still there! I thought it had succumbed last winter, Stan..but it's climbing up through the clem. Not really sturdy looking, but it's still here!
