My Strawberry tree is growing really well (since it's been planted in the ground). It has some small fruit and has another flower. It's a fast-growing tropical tree native the Caribbean and Southern Mexico. Photo taken July 28, 2018.

That's great bet you can't wait to taste it.
Watching you tube I discovered why your Mangos in your shops don't have any taste that's because they inject growth stuff into fruit to make them bigger and veg even India does this so any thing that has not taste this is the reason same with water melons if the seeds are white in stead of black like we are getting the white seeds here its injected. Never eat a water melon that has cracks inside it will kill you.

Then I checked out this stuff they use and guess what it causes strokes.

Actually, the reason why most mangoes imported into the U.S. don't have flavor is: because they put them through a hot water bath which cooks them. It kills the bugs and also kills most of the flavor.

What a shame but can understand not to get bugs coming into your country which could destroy vital crops. They come from Mexico dont they?

Yes, the majority of mangoes come from Mexico. However, San Diego County along with the Coachella Valley grow mangoes, also. The Coachella "Keitt" mangoes are some of the best mangoes I've ever tasted! Since the mangoes are grown here in California they don't have to be treated.

Said to taste like either cotton candy or sugar cubes. Fast growing small tree. That's nice. Not a huge tree but gets to where you want it fast not like many tropical's,at a slow pace.

Yes, Cotton Candy tree is one of the other common names.
It's a very fast growing tree. It's starting out pretty slow, though. My friend's tree which is the sister plant is almost two ft tall. He fertilizes it, though. Lol!
