Purple Phlox paniculata

I love Phlox. Great colour and lots of flower heads.

Beautiful Hywel, the sun has all but dried my purple and the pink going the same way. The rain has brought them back a bit but too late I think.

The purple one has many brown shrivelled branches, and the pink one was very droopy until the rain came.

My favourite summer flowers, love them for their colour and scent.....

Yes they are beautiful. I lost a very pretty one in the beast from the east last winter.

Thats a pity, I didn't realise they were tender....

I think the temperature went down too much for it. It was a maculata type.
