Exotic conifer fascinating growth

This plant fascinates me with the forms that it takes as it grows, I am so glad I bought it when I had the chance to.

Hi Lori, sorry I don't know what its name is at all. The needles are definitely more like scales though like you say. It originates from somewhere hot though but can tolerate a cooler climate such as East Anglia where I am. This one has been raised at the Exotic Garden in this area so it is already acclimatised.

Is it Siberian cyprus microbiota decussata? Celtic Pride? I had one in my last garden the needles(?) look like scales?
