The immature seed pods of the "French Breakfast Radish".. I love them too. lovely taste like the radish bulb but milder.

just had a bath and can't do a thing with the hair! I'm studying dog grooming on the internet. Some groomers are pretty wild with the clippers...

yorkie and clippers not a good combo , as you will be aware yorkie fur is like human hair so best cut with scissors

I've seen several clips on the Youtube channel... the clippers are used mostly down the spine and across the shoulders. The "fringes" on the legs, ears and gowls are done with thinners and scissors. My concern for Ryot was that his eyes and snout area needs a thinning and I've seen a short cut done with a low blade on the trimmers. I don't want to remove all his hair and have tried to keep his head shape long and flowing while controling the hair around his eyes and mouth. Ryot is a really good boy for grooming in general but he senses my anxiety about working near his eyes..and tends to fidgit.
I have used scissors because I just don't want to trim him with the clippers. I'm working up my nerve...lol. and I do agree clippers do not do a good job on his fine hairlike fur. I want him to look as natural as possible,, but I can't see him with long flowing fur... He wears a coat most of the time and don't want any mats forming so that means lots of brushing. I guess what I'm saying is that I need to strike a happy medium!
