Plumeria obtusa make a big comeback. (Plumeria obtusa)

Its hard to tell on GOYS small photos..but all that green stem is new as is every leaf.
Last cool wet winter it nearly died back to a cutting!..my previous three years growth took a beating.
It also did all this since July..very late to leaf out. I even took it out of its previous "visible to everyone"..to this side yard-lol. Its looked terrible then. Why look at that?.ha.

Well it seems to like it where it is Stan I would keep it there see what happens.

It looks very good. The ones I see around here are still in full flower and can flower anytime of the year, unlike Plumeria rubra.

Its growing well. Not a sign of a inflorescence forming. But big glossy leaves and its stretching out farther as of today compared to that photo.

That's great, it's doing well. The one I had bloomed very well in Mission San Jose, Fremont. I loved that tree. I still get sad when I think of it burning up about 5 years ago in an extreme Santa Ana wind heat wave.

Its growing very fast. Faster then ever. But those lush green stems just dont seem to be the older flowering stems they need.
My Celadine had no tip dieback this last winter..and its blooming up a storm for a potted Plumeria.
Did I tell you all I saw Plumeria at the local home Improvement store in 15 gallon pots for $100?

They are not the risk they used to be. One day,I will see a small tree in the ground. One day!

It's probably why Home Depot is offering them as larger plants. They are hardier and grow and bloom faster.

I'm trying to reduce the overgrowth now. First to go is the A.americana. Looking hard at Aloe "California"..since its in a prime spot and just looks like generic Aloe clump. I could put my Echevaria's there..and stop the need to water them as often in a pot like now.
I hit the wall. Some healthy plants just got ugly big. Looking to take them way down also.

The common stuff usually goes first! lol! Although, a lot of drought tolerant plants are very popular here because of the horrible drought!
