My raised bulb bed today - acis autumnalis (closest to the camera), zephyranthes candida (white flowers), sternbergia sicula (yellow flowers), and two species colchicums

Love the zephyranthes Andrew! It shares its name with my favourite wild flower the wood anemone which some people call Windflowers. You can see why! Does it have to be grown in a dry gravelly bed?

Stera - it needs good drainage in the winter, so the raised bed is a good way of ensuring this

Andrew, there is a lovely circular display right now at RHS Wisley, a surprising sight to see at the Plant Fair yesterday.
