I love all of the colchicums. I do not normally favour double flowers but this has its place bringing welcome colour at this time of year.

Like that one used increase well as did other ones but as the climate changed they have become more difficult, either that or it is me.

Bjs I thought I had lost the Colchicum aggripum that you gave me but I see it trying to push itself up under the laburnum trees. It has not spread as I had hoped and I did wonder about moving it but I just did not get around to it. One of the white ones came from you too and it is doing well. Maybe yours are just having a rest before they make a big effort next year. I know you have been doing a lot of refurbishing in your garden, could they have been disturbed by that. The photos you have posted have been superb.
Janey I think you have got me mixed up with Scotkat. Her name is Kath. She closed her account some time ago and I am unsure why. She and her husband were busy enjoying his retirement and had bought a motorhome to go exploring. She is just one more person who came and then vanished.

I have, many apologies Scotsgran.....
What's in a name?
That which we call a rose
By any other name
Would smell as sweet...:))

No need to apologise Janey. Scotkat had some lovely plants in her garden and it is always a shame to lose contributors. For security reasons I tend to stick with avatar names but I don't mind being mistaken for a better gardener.
