I've read and heard from family up there the smoke from the fire is so HORRIBLE! I hope it's not affecting your breathing!

Its worst I've seen in 60 years living here. Strong smoke smell,dirty air. People have masks on,even a Doctor I saw this week was coughing from the bad air.
The news did say that as bad as the bay area has been? New Delhi and Beijing are worse. ALL the time. No wonder all the photos of people in masks there.

I just noticed today. My Plumeria obtusa has for the first time this fall developed cold mottled foliage to a couple of leafs. They get that when nights are in the 40's.
I hate winter.
