Beware the creeping non-flowering shoots, they're vigorous and invasive.

They get shorn back every spring and reduced to just two or three crowns. But thanks for the warning

I tried to train the long shoots up a pergola, but they refused to flower.

We do the same here with ours Andrew.....

I've put a cutting into a hanging basket, so the runners can't touch the ground.....yet!

I've done the same with the Golden Creeping Jenny that came under the fence from next door
