I like moss :-)

I have found a moss...which I'm not sure if it is a moss or a fern. It is so tiny...and it has fronds like a fern although it's less than an inch tall. ... another riddle.

There are many different mosses. I love to see them on old walls and in woods etc.

I'm sure I've take a pic of it... must look in my archives it is a marvel and I don't know why I haven't shared it before.

They are amazing plants ...

I have to view them side on..lol. That way it looks like a very miniaturized version of a Japanese bonsai. I'm thinking of a small moss garden in the shade of the largest cedar... still getting snow and freezing rain..so I won't be able to get to it for at least another month or maybe more... sigh.

Funny you should say that, Lori, because I was just going to say "you could make a small Japanese garden!" A moss garden sounds perfect . . . :)

LoL yes, Siris. this is from 2017. I'll put up a photo of the snow in my back yard this morning... we had about 12 inches of the stuff dumped on us last night! I spent most of my morning shovelling!
