This huge rock generates a moss blanket every spring and it is mottled with tiny ferns and toad stools... just delightful. Will see if I can get a better photo this spring.

Love moss and lichen. Lovely shot, even if you were trying for landscape.

I know I'm repeating myself.. sorry...but I hope to make a moss "garden" with terrestrial and epiphytic ferns. ...a little faeryland with bluebells and JITP. Some of the rotting logs on the hill are potential "containers" too.
