Thanks Ck and Thrupennybit, I like painting horses.

They have character and a spirit don't they so can understand you enjoying painting them. I ve only ever drawn one my twin sisters have the real thing lol one of the twins has just bought a house and another paddock rear of her house which was separate to the house but I ve only ever visited once and I doubt if I could get across her garden and into the paddock in my chair to draw them.

How lovely for them to have a horse of their own. In the past I've done a lot of riding, and really enjoyed having contact with the horses. Just a suggestion Thrupennybit, perhaps your family have a few photos of the horses they might let you have, so that you can have a go at drawing them...….Only an idea.

Thanks DD. I've never been taught but just do my own thing and perhaps my paintings aren't perfect, but it's nice that others enjoy them.
