Brian...is there a crocus that sends up leaves in autumn and flowers in late winter? I bought some last autumn and they were wrongly labelled as Colchicum sativus. But they sent up loads of very narrow leaves, very upright and stiff and these stayed all winter in the greenhouse. Now I have a few pale lilac flowers but defo. Not saffron.
