Pseudopanax ferox - 2019

This New Zealand tree has a reputation for being slightly tender. Here it is, eleven years after planting - it must be fifteen feet tall now, having survived the cold winter of 2010/11 and last year's Beast from the East. I think it may just be starting to think about growing some adult foliage now
