Fantastic Brian. (I ordered one of these from Border Alpines but it arrived lifeless! Do you buy plants or grow them from seed?) Such a vibrant blue!

Not sure which Hepatica you bought but suspect it would have been H.Nobilis this is totally hardy and would only just be starting into growth outside ,if you look at the writing on my picture you will see it is H.Japonica this requires different treatment acid soil and cool greenhouse.as for where you purchased it have in past found a fair bit of wrong naming especially if it is dormant and only used them a couple of times nice enough people but not sure of there setup suspect a lot is bought in and you need reliable suppliers

Nothing wrong with Nobilis it is the strongest as long as you give it a bit of shade in summer

I only grow Nobilis as I grow them outside in the border. They are looking quite tatty at present. Btw, that pic of yours BJS is super.
