Magnolias

Stunning capture are nt they just beauties.

Hi Bathgate, these photos are stunning. Is Brooklyn (aside from its wonderful Magnolias) a noteworthy Botanic Garden? Is it the main one for New York?

Judging by your photos Paul, I would say spring has arrived for you. Unfortunately it's gone backwards here and is bitterly cold today.

Hi Karen: I would say the New York Botanical Garden (in the Bronx) is the major garden. It has much more going on, more acerage, more exhibits, more everything. Though the Brooklyn Botanical Garden is amazing in its own right. They have and incredible bonsai collection, the rose garden, magnolias, the cherry blossoms and the corpse flower. Each of them has various programs going on throughout the year. You can go the their websites to get an idea.
