Loropetalum Chinense var. rubrum 'Fire Dance'

Just removed the fleece off this slightly tender shrub as its stunning in red, but it's bitterly cold today.

Great colour it's very pretty. I would recover it.

Yeah...freezing here too. Keep it cosy for now would be my advice. I can't grow this here...too cold and windy for it.

Have just taken the fleece off ours, thinking of putting it back on again!! heating back on too!!

Put the fleece back on, would be a shame for it to get frosted, but now can't see that stunning flower colour.
