I am surprised that they are still digging up my bulbs at this time of year. I am wondering if it is mice because the squirrel has been known to steal the bulb complete with flowering stem.

Mice have certainly damaged my tulip bulbs in the past so it could be them. Tulip bulbs seem to be particularly attractive to them.

That is awful such pretty Tulips too. I know the feeling when they ate all my crocus in a spring bowl.
