Chaenomeles speciosa

Gorgeous colour flowers.

They are very orange with bright yellow centres. I am growing it under the pergola and it has shot up to try and reach the sun but this part is in shade most of the day and it glows.

Sounds lovely with the colours and climbing your pergola I have Geisha girl in this it is facing South in late afternoon sun mine is nt flowering as good as the red one I had some years back.

I had the red C.'Crimson and Gold' for years. It suddenly died back but I did not have time to worry about it and it is just surviving. It might need to be replaced by something else.

There are quite a few other colours if it does need replacing shame it's died back.
