Beauties love these I only have one always reliable too.

3p mine took quite a while to really get going. I transplanted a few bulbs from my daughters garden and some of them died but it is still there. The common name is 'Summer Snowflake' but it does flower in Spring not Summer.

This one must like where you ve planted it then strange how the others died. I do find now a lot of bulb plants no longer come back Tulips for one. Yes it's a spring flower and flowers for a good while.

I moved them 'in the green' because we were visiting her and I fancied them for my garden. I might not have been too careful when I dug them up which might account for the demise of some of them.

Yes it could of been when you moved them as some bulbs I ve had and replanted never came back.

It looks delicate Hywel but it grows to 12-15" high and has several flowers on each stem.

I've never seen them before.

Neither had I until my daughter moved to Somerset. She had a lot of leaves but few flowers so I advised her that she should split up the clumps to rejuvenate them. Her friends were happy to relieve her of some of them too.

The Gladioli you sent me are flowering now :)

Mine are about a foot tall and no sign of any flowers yet. The thief who is nipping off the stems of my tulips has started on the gladiola now. It is good to know they are succeeding in your area. Are they growing outside or in a pot?

They are in a pot but some insect has now snapped two of them off, also several of my Aquilegias :(

Oh dear! I wonder if a change in the climate is affecting and encouraging this odd behaviour. I wonder if any other members are experiencing similar problems?

I's gone very cold here recently, you'd think insect activity would die down in colder weather. I've taken the pot into a Perspex shelter incase the other flower gets attacked.
