These were all kept in a cold greenhouse over Winter.

Your Acer looks so lovely in that pot,Shirley..not sure if one would survive outdoors here..my other Acer didn't,but my Astilbe does,so that's ok :o) x

I love the new foliage it is so attractive.... our Orange Dream is in the ground and the same size as yours 3pence...Astilbes are hardy here......

It was left out in a pot for years prior Dottydaisy I then got another to put in the empty pot which my daughter has now. As long as they are well watered and not in a windy place mine did OK left out for years. Same as my pink one I uploaded the other week. This has stayed out side since it was smaller than Shirley's.

The Acer is lovely I have one and gave the other in a pot to my daughter they survive the winters OK in pots and ground mine is now about 12ft tall in the ground.
