Standard Lavender.

No bending down to sniff the scent either!

It sounds lovely ,you can brush it with your finger tips as you walk by ...

I didn't word that very well as I meant you won't have to bend down too low to catch the scent ...

Oh dear, I had no idea you have had an operation! I wish you a successful recovery ... :o)

I hope you are recovering well too,Julia..nasty op,so my mum told me :o( Like Shirley says,be careful when bending.. there couldn't be a worse thing to ask a Gardener to do ! A nice idea to have a standard..don't think I've seen one before..good luck with it ..xx

We had a standard lavender for years, they do well.....enjoy!
