I love clems... I could grow them in my town garden and had Warsaw Nike, Exmoor, and Gillian Blades; but have only the specie type Virgin's Bower here... and it grows and self seeds wildly. I love it and wouldn't trade it... it coexists with wisteria. I've been doing invasiveness trials with various plants. They have to be cast iron plants to qualify and then I pit them against each other to see who wins... the clem and wisteria is one trial...and aegopodia vs. euphorbia. So far it looks like clems and aegopodia...but it's early days yet. We shall see. It may be time to shop for another clem. I'm still hoping to find a lovely creamy white one I've had my eyes on for ages..I think it's Duchess of Edinburgh.
