This one gets quite a bit of sun - my plants growing in shade aren't in flower yet either

Not yet. I think the lack of moisture might be holding them back. 'Red Gurkha' is always incredibly late

Whew, even my little pink alpina, which seeds itself is nowhere to be seen. Thanks for the reassurance. Oh, and the Thalictrum is not starting to open its flowers.
