i love this winter shrub its evergree and flowers in the winter which cheers my garden up in the winter after flowering it grows fruit.

i dont know i keep cutting the bottom branches off so i have only the top branches on it. due to my garden being small it looks very nice without the branches at the bottom so all the enegy goes to the top of the shrub. i will but the other picture on so you can see what i have done. it has taen 2 years to grow like this but they are well worth the wait.

what a stunning mahonia! i bought one of these in the spring but it is only tiny think it will be a few years before it looks anywhere as near as nice as this one! whats your secret?
