How beautiful! We saw some fields like this in Dorset and Somerset. Never see them up here.

Yes...Dorset is very much pasture and I guess that’s why.

Love them , have a painting of them on the wall I did years ago they brighten any miserable day up.

I use to see fields of poppies in Norfolk but haven't seen any since moving to Suffolk ..

Thanks everyone! There are a lot of poppy fields in Lincolnshire at the moment, it’s lovely driving around and stopping off for 5 minutes to take it in. Hywel, you’re right, it’s reminiscent of Monet. You could escape into one of his paintings!
I agree Brian, a painting of poppies or a meadow full is a real treat!

One summer a few years ago I stayed in Suffolk and the fields were full of red poppies. They are lovely to see. Around here the fields have been full of dandelion and buttercup flowers, and along the stone walls there are foxgloves all out.

Bet it looks nice and summery with all the yellow wildflowers Linda! Sounds very pretty having foxgloves blooming along stone walls!
