My Beetroot growing great this year .Hubby dug in ‘ Chicken Manure Pellets , to improve ‘ the plot ‘ Of course the rains helped Cant wait to eat them . Certainly helps as always do ,set seeds in greenhouse first till about 3” high then ,transplant into garden .( Monty Dons Tip )
