Thank You Lori. These only look better each year. I haven't seen any slugs around as they are usually on 'the early bird's' breakfast table to supplement the seeds I keep in the feeder. "Patriot' is stunning that keeps its clean crisp colors all season. I'd love to have one and I'll keep an eye out for your pics.

after they bloom and set seed I can send you some..or perhaps a couple of roots...as I'm thinning them this fall.

Yeh! That sounds good. We can do a swap if you want. I think the roots would be better - instant gratification & seeds don't always come true. I'd be happy to send you anything in my garden. The one on the left is a beauty as well with huge leaves and white flowers, this one has light purple and blooms later than the others.

some of them are scented (usually the later blooming ones) and the flowers are white. I have a big Bressingham Blue growing beneath a black walnut tree...it produced a lot of seed last year which I've kept... and this spring, no doubt from the few seeds that got away when I was harvesting them, there are babies on the hems of her skirt! remains to be seen if they will come true to type but they'll be second year plants... I'll clean the roots and send them that way. is that ok? will include some seeds so you can play in the greenhouse.

beautiful healthy looking hostas, BG. I love the ones with snowy white. I have one that's white in the centre and dark green on the outside of the leaves...it's called Patriot and I love it to pieces! what colour are the flowers? are they scented?
