Brilliant Lori was that here in the UK if so what area if you know where they lived and worked they are an art in them selves are nt they Lori.
This one is being repainted and renamed when I asked the lad who was looking after it for his dad what will be the new name be he replied Hambridge which I found funny as I knew all his family and his dad when his dad was a little boy on his mum and dads side parents both sides of the family worked the boats years ago his nan I use to live a few doors away she was a Mc Donald one of, 12 children when her parents worked the boats small world is nt it.
The old boat builders here at Hawksbury Junction was the Stephtons the family also ran the local pubs here even their recent ancedtors until recently.

my great great grandfather was a Stocker from Lewes.my great grandfather emigrated in the 1860's his daughter married a Sawyer and emigrated in 1871.. my grandfather was born in Canada in 1875 and inherited land on Muskoka Lake in Central Ontario. He was a boat builder as well.
