Ha ha - that’s the idea, Scotsgran! I love my wild patch at the bottom. The really tall trees at the back are actually just over the wall, bordering the school site.

It is great what you can borrow from the neighbours.

I want to follow that path too, very tempting!

That’s true, Scotsgran. It’s a school site with woods over the wall, so we have a good long view and many birds, from wrens to pheasants and plenty in between!
Sheila, I am always pleased when we have guests and they can’t resist the path! We used to have a little gate in the corner onto the site - I taught at the school and our children went there so it was rather a nice commute ( a bit close for switching off at the end of the day, though...) It is all blocked up and grown over now, quite deliberately. The path down the old railway embankment is completely obliterated by willow, nettles and holly as well: no chance of unwanted visitors!

I'm itching to explore along the path in to the hidden part of your garden.
