Deinanthe caerulea - 2019

An herbaceous relative of the hydrangea, growing to a foot and a half in moist, woodland conditions. Although I have had this plant for many years, it usually finds the Bracknell summers too hot and dry for it. I can only surmise that June's downpours have allowed it to flower for this year
