Lilium lancifolium and Lythrum salicaria, a riot of colour, love it or hate it. Christopher Lloyd would be proud.

As I try to give plants the growing conditions they like, they've ended up together, not my first choice of colour combination either.

"What on Earth!?" love it! especially the tiger lilies. bees and hummingbirds love them. The lythrum was a "threat" a few years back, here in NA. They're on about Giant Hog Weed, now.
It's not a combo that's expected but it's zingy!
