Tomatoes

They're turning Red Paul , I'm worried about the Cherokee this year they look healthy and have flowers but no sign of them developing into tomato's yet time could be running out for this year unless we have a long hot summer ..

OK so sorry about that Amy. I will make a note to send you new seeds for next year. Is there any particular type I can get for you? Some are better than others.

That's kind of you Paul I still have my fingers crossed for the Cherokee It does have flowers on I'll let you know ..BTW our granddaughter has settled in and has been up the new Beehive and sent photos what an amazing structure ...

Paul its The Vessel it's in Hudson Yard Manhattan . it's called the Beehive because of its design , it's an amazing structure for people to walk up and down ,the people look like Bees ...

LOL! wow. I haven't been over there because of all the construction and traffic congestion. I just looked at The Vessel on Google. It looks scary & exciting, but I would love to go and explore. It's right up my alley. The views must be amazing! at night?! Thank You

Our Granddaughter tell us the whole area is undergoing a regeneration programme Paul , she is finding it all exciting with so much to see and do ...

If you gently tap the flower stems Amy to spread the pollen, and then in a day or two lightly spray the plants with water, perhaps that will help. If the green tomatoes won't ripen we put an overripe banana underneath the tomato plant and the gases from the banana help that process.

Thanks Linda thats a great tip ,the tomatos have at last started forming lets hope we have some nice hot weather to help them along ..
