Karen, I always think of this as an upright perennial, not a 'flopper' so to speak!

Do you know Shirley...I have had a very anti-herbaceous perennial mood lately. I have been plotting the demise of a few more of mine, having removed loads last autumn. Here is Scotland, the Winter is so long and the summers are so disappointing that I have decided to major more on the winter performing plants now.

I've always loved the flowers of this plant. Just wish it weren't quite so tall.
