Thanks all!... Newtogarden: would you believe that she is the pickiest eater??? She has never eaten Alpo or Purina...I have cooked for her from day one! She was very skinny, hungry and full of worms when I found her...she was barely six weeks old and on her own and it was minus 47 degrees C. on the street where I found her. (Or perhaps I should say...where she found me!)

Congrats Lori to your soul mate --- my dog and cats found me and adopted me as well ---- nice to know others are adopting the needy as well... She is very pretty - no wonder she won your heart.

Thanks Isabella...nice to meet a kindred spirit. Jacque just posted pics of Puss's return... She adopted Puss in his hour of need, as well. Come to think of it...all of my pets (well with two exceptions) came to me that way. I loved them all the more for their needing me...Mandy is a little spoiled...small wonder, aye? lol.
