I've been cutting these for ages and still they keep coming. It's said you must wait till they're black all over but sometimes they're are so many that you just have to cut some off. I'm not a chilli lover but grandaughters are and they look nice, like a mini tree.

Thanks for that info Wylie. I have two "testers" who say they're hot but compared to what. I have half a dozen on my Naga ghost which are said to be very hot.
Regarding blackberries, I have a freezer full. A good year for them and early too. My grandaughter gets a few out each night to have with yoghurt for breakfast. Yuk!

I make Chilli jam with mine Thorneyside but can't imagine what it would look like if it came out black instead of a nice red colour ...

I made some tomato and chilli chutney this year. Its ever so good! I like a bit of a spicy kick in myfood..not too much, just a gently whoosh of heat!

If you cut too early, they aren't as hot. There are some jobs that you have to do a little every day (like blackberries - pick, wash, and freeze until you get enough to do something).
