Nice....haven't been to New York for many years, but one fantastic place! I've just been to a conference in Manchester for work, heavy rain. The hotel had some lovely gardens out front but didn't really get time to take some pics...

Yes, that happens, very little free time on those conferences. The Crown Plaza hotel in Rosemont IL is connected to the conference hall by an enclosed skyway so you never even go outdoors. You feel like a hamster in one of those happy trails. Even after conference hours, all the schmoozing you have to do - client dinners, etc. Except when I had a conference in New Orleans I took a couple vacation days so I could explore the city and I wasn't leaving without beignets from Cafe Du Monde.

I have to agree with you, networking and being caught by reps etc..saying that, the evening reception and dinner is usually worth it!
New Orleans, another place to visit. I’ve been to several cities, but all on the East Coast, Bathgate.

LOL, I know me too Amy and yes you can make at home, but they aren't the same. They use cottonseed oil? I didn't know that was a thing. :)

Me neither Paul , perhaps it isn't fattening that way you can eat as many as you like Haha

Well, despite having gone to North America several times, and knowing more states and cities in the USA than in Brazil, I never went to NYC. but now you remind me of the club sandwich at the Blackstone hotel bistrô in Chicago. The aroma of coffee and the squirrels running in the park. My first visit to Chicago, October 6th, 1996. Ewww long time ago.

Ha Ha, Do you mean the turkey club sandwich with Swiss, lettuce, tomato & bacon? That's a fave of mine too - with a bowl of loaded potato soup. Now I'm drooling. Time to go downstairs and raid the fridge!
